Annabelle launched The Kitchen Social following her graduation in Level 1 Culinary Nutrition from Leith’s Cookery School in London early in 2019. She developed her interest in nutrition following her daughter’s diagnosis with a chronic auto-immune condition in 2017 and a complete change of diet has transformed her family’s health. She is now evangelical about the principles of healthy eating which form the basis of all of our cooking. Building on a passion for cooking for her family over sixteen years, her time at Leith’s has helped to refine and develop The Kitchen Social menus to be more nutritionally balanced yet still delicious, using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.
Heidi runs operations for The Kitchen Social having spent most of her career working in events and project management, managing and setting up hundreds of fundraising and PR events in the UK and abroad. Most recently she has worked in an award winning restaurant alongside the head chef developing among other things, new menus, wine lists, costings and food safety. Most importantly she is a confirmed foodie and highly accomplished home cook never happier than when whipping up a Persian herb fritatta or leafing through a new cookery book.
Nergiz makes up our little team bringing with her not only a wealth of Middle Eastern culinary experience and some delicious Turkish recipes, she also ran her own restaurant for 10 years.
